About the Business
Chosen as a qualifying venue for the 2014 Seniors Open Championship, this event is the latest in a long line of important events held here since the early 1900's when Harry Vardon, the six time British Open Champion said "The course I like best in Wales is Ashburnham".
A glittering array of Major Champions and International golfers have played here including three victorious Ryder Cup Captains who have each won prestigious tournaments at Ashburnham.
Ashburnham celebrated its centenary in 1994 by staging the Men's Home International Championship for the second time and in 2010 the four nations event returned for a third time when an England team featuring current European stars, Tom Lewis, Eddie Pepperrel and Tommy Fleetwood won the Raymond Trophy.
