About the Business
Belfairs Golf Course is a public golf course in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex opened in 1923. The original 9 hole course was designed by Harry S. Colt and a further 9 holes were added in 1926. There are two clubs on the course, Belfairs and Southend. Belfairs Golf Club was the original club that was formed in 1926 to coincide with the opening of the 18 hole course.
Southend Golf Club was formed after the two clubs split in the mid 40's. This site has been created to give members of the public information on the course and the two clubs located on it. It is also hoped that it will be able to provide a facility for golfers to leave feedback who are not associated with either of the clubs.
