About the Business
It is now over 100 years since Cleckheaton Golf Club was formed and here we are on the World Wide Web. The course was designed by the famous golf architect Dr Alistair McKenzie. It's interesting that apart from lengthening the course to just under 6,000 yards, which brings the par and standard scratch to 70/70, his original design has certainly stood the test of time. I have no doubt that you will enjoy the course and sincerely hope you will use the clubhouse facilities.
Our latest improvement is a new, much larger veranda from which you can see the 1st, 18th, 9th and 10th holes. A perfect location to sit and watch the world go by or have a drink and enjoy some of the best golf club food in Yorkshire.
Visitors are always welcome at our club and I hope you come along and enjoy your day with us.
