About the Business
Great Harwood Golf Club is the longest nine-hole layout within the East Lancashire Golf Association. With four par fours to start, the opening holes test a player's ability to drive the ball both long and straight. The par-five fifth is split by a water hazard while the sixth is a par three with five surrounding bunkers that puts a premium on accuracy. A new internal out-of-bounds has made hole seven one of the toughest holes on the course.
A tricky par five- par three finish completes the nine holes. Off the course, the clubhouse can accomodate social events for up to 120 people and on-site catering is also available. Gents competitions are held on most Sundays, with Ladies competitions taking place on Tuesdays. Matches take place on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings during the summer and involve four pairs matches.
