About the Business
The United Kingdom is blessed with some of the most famous and picturesque golf courses in the world. Many of the golf clubs based at these courses are almost as old as the sport itself. Scotland is the birthplace of golf, and one course which is synonymous with Scottish golf is St Andrews. As well as playing a round on the iconic Old Course here, visitors can also soak up the atmosphere of golf history which exists here. Five other courses are also available to play. The Belfry, located in Warwickshire, in the English Midlands, is one of England's top courses.
Many professional tournaments have been played here. There are three courses at the Belfry. The PGA National is England's only PGA Course. The Brabazon is considered as the spiritual home of European Ryder Cup golf, while the Derby is open to players of all abilities. The Royal Liverpool Golf Club, at Hoylake on Merseyside, is perhaps north west England's finest course.
