About the Business
One of the finest golf clubs in Yorkshire, both in terms of beauty and as a test of golf. Ilkley Golf Club is where Honorary Life Member Colin Montgomerie learnt his golf. It is also proud to have another Ryder Cup Captain, Mark James, as an Honorary Life Member. These include James Taylor, James Braid, Harry Vardon and Tom Vardon, John Ball, Harold Hilton, Peter Thomson, Christy O'Connor Snr, Gordon Brand and our current Members, former Walker Cup Captain Rodney Foster and James Hepworth.
The Club also has strong connections with some of the world's finest course designers such as Harry Colt, Alister MacKenzie and James Braid. So if you are looking for golf courses in Leeds or golf courses in Bradford take a trip out to Ilkley and you won't be disappointed.
