About the Business
Having been the teaching professional at Lydd up to 2011, John had built up a good rapport with members and visitors of the club. On returning to Lydd, his aim is to be a pro you can see as a friend and he will always be more than happy to assist in any way possible.
One of John's main interests is developing junior golf. He will focus on building a junior section that all at Lydd Golf Club can be proud of. John would also like to offer members of the club a discount on private tuition along with great value golf clinics.
Darren is a low handicap player who counts the Trilby Tour amongst his achievements. Since late 2012 Darren has been conditioning the layout and turning Lydd into a course of great quality. The excellence of the greens has received rave reviews from several societies recently, so much so that they have already booked for return trips.
