About the Business
It was founded as Aberdare Valley Golf Club but when Aberdare Golf Club was created in the 1920s a degree of confusion arose. As a consequence the name was changed to Mountain Ash just after the Second World War.
We have recently invested in new machinery for the course, have obtained the services of a new proactive chef with a rapidly growing reputation for quality food at a competitive price, are currently replacing our roof and revamping our facilities in a section of the club to improve visits to our dining and function room. Two of our golf teams have been promoted this year - to the Premier and 3rd division, Stuart Manley, life member, holds the course record of 60 and THE WAYFARERS GOLF SOCIETY has its home in Mountain Ash Golf Club.
