About the Business
Ranfurly Castle celebrated it's 125th Anniversary in 2014, making it the oldest Golf Club in Renfrewshire. The course is widely recognised as one of the finest "Classic" courses and is acknowledged as one of the best moorland courses in Scotland.
Ranfurly Castle is a superb golf course, in terms of condition, layout and setting - it is a great test of golf for all levels. I can understand why some members do not want to play elsewhere because we are definitely spoiled here. Being able to walk on to the first tee at almost any time, the extensive practice facilities, the service provided by Tom Eckford and his staff or the opportunity to play a few holes after work are just some of the attributes of this club.
Our course was originally laid out over a century ago on naturally well draining land. It is set in the hills above Bridge of Weir where we enjoy magnificent views over the Renfrewshire countryside, the Clyde valley and north to Ben Lomond and the Scottish mountains.
