About the Business
South Herts Golf Club is situated just 11 miles from central London and a short walk from Totteridge and Whetstone tube station. Golf has been played at South Herts since 1900 and the Club is steeped in golfing history. Two of Britains greatest golfers have been the Club's Professionals for a period spanning some 80 years. Harry Vardon was the professional from 1902 until his death in 1937 and Dai Rees CBE became the club professional in 1946 and remained until his death in 1983.
Extending across 150 acres of peaceful undulating parkland the Club has two superb courses: the 6,429 yards 18-hole Vardon Course and the 1,582 yards 9-hole Rees Course. Delve deeper into the website for more information about the Club, the courses and our rich history - you'll be following in the footsteps of many of the game's greatest players when you play at South Herts Golf Club.
