About the Business
We have added a new Senior Section Page into the Members Page of the website. Please click on the members tab and then the "Seniors Section" page for all the latest news and information about the Trentham Park Golf Club Senior's Section. Set in the former grounds of Trentham Hall, once the seat of the Duke of Sutherland, TPGC is an 18-hole par 71 course. Measuring 6390 yards, from the back tees, there are many challenging holes, offering both high and low handicap golfers a fair and exciting challenge.
The pleasantly wooded course makes excellent use of water features, including an unforgettable opening drive, needing to skirt a waterfall and lake, to achieve par. Recently greens and surrounds have been re-designed and re-bunkered by Steve Marnoch, the international golf course architect, to reflect the ever increasing demands of modern day golf. TPGC is the home course of Ryder Cup player David Gilford, who, with Ronan Rafferty, jointly held the course record of 67 until June 2006.
